I want to avoid any conflict of interests, real or apparent. e.g. me fixing bounties on my own plugins / code where the bounty is set by me

[mapkyca] Theoretically logs should be handled by whatever logrotate tool your server is using
#
[mapkyca] that said, quiet logs are good, so removing those deprecation warnings would be a good thing

[mapkyca] You could drop your log level down a little - the deprecation warnings are coming in as ->debug
