[chrisaldrich] There was also some documentation for the original hosted Known (not taking new users now) which was slightly different in terms of how it handled dovetailing with social media. Hopefully most sources make it obvious whether they're talking about hosted vs. non-hosted.

[scojjac] I tried the Twitter 1.0.0 plugin from Known that requires getting API key and secret - the Connect to Twitter button it enabled didn't open another page. In a similar vein the Github plugin by Marcus Povey gave me a client_id/client_secret error (Github lists my site as authorized, though). Setting up a couple different Micropub clients failed - my site recognizes them as authorized but is sending an invalid response.
