Loqi[tantek]: schmarty left you a message 1 hour, 1 minute ago: did some duplication of 2016/NYC2 and sub-pages pages for 2017/NYC (main, schedule, projects/guest list, and planning). in retrospect, maybe should have started from the summit pages, but here we are. :}
tantekaaronpk, I think gRegorlove suggested disallowing "commentpara" sign-ins to the wiki and I think I agree. It sets a bad example "user xx" and encourages folks to procrastinate on actually getting their own domain working and using that as their identity in the community
Loqischmarty: tantek left you a message 22 minutes ago: I've gone ahead and added you as a co-organizer for IWC NYC since you're helping with the wiki pages (which helps a lot!)
tantekbasically we should decide whether to make 2017.indieweb.org/nyc the offiical indie event to RSVP to (which I think would be better) or if I should personally post the indie event (I can now do that, but I think it's better for camps/summits to do it with indieweb.org - as that's direction I think we want to keep going)
tantekaaronpk, "50" sounds like possibly a default we took from the previous event - I'm seeing a lot of TBD for venue capacity of Dalberg - we might have just not figured it out, and got lucky with the ~20 that signed up
tantek.comedited /2017/NYC/Planning (+380) "/* To Do */ Confirm with organizers that ready to announce, then move to planned, also tasks in parallel" (view diff)
tantek!tell [chrisaldrich],GWG looks like 2017-11-11…12 is shaping up to be the best candidate date for IWC LA - can we see about confirming venue availability - either Yahoo or note: cleverdevil offered Dreamhost as possible host too.
tantekinteresting - maybe that might be a good option (IWC 2018) to start planning for now too, and see if chrisaldrich is able to get Yahoo for this one
