schmarty which things? i don't have an "about the venue" write-up yet.

schmarty it's about 45 minutes from the airport via the light rail, or 20 by taxi/car

GWG Any recommended inexpensive hotels nearby? The usual.

schmarty it's ~10-15 minutes from the train station by free bus or city bus, or 5-10 minutes by taxi/car.

schmarty i don't have any favorites, but if we're in jan/feb it'll be in the off-season, so things will be more affordable, $100-ish/night.

GWG Safe neighborhood, decent eateries?

schmarty yes to both. the hotels are right near the inner harbor to the east and federal hill to the south. fed hill has good food. inner harbor has tourist stuff.

schmarty there's a free bus called the Charm City Circulator that goes north/south and can take you to Mt. Vernon which has more good places to eat.

GWG I'm not sure I have one. I have a class in January and in March. So February might be best. But I can't think that far ahead.
