Re preview of images - svgur.com inlines the svg into the page, so that trolls trying to hack it with script tags in svg play themselves

The svg shown on the site is all in img so no script executes

"Etherpad for event" doesn'T appear to be a common thing any more - i'd update the page to describe session page with individual etherpad links instead? or are US IWCs still doing that?
#
aaronpk
oh yeah linking to the etherpads directly from the schdeul grid has been working better
#
gRegorLove
It varies. Some sessions were linked in the /2017 etherpad, but yeah my preference is the schedule grid. I still think an event etherpad is a good idea to point attendees to, in case they aren't able to log in to the wiki
#
gRegorLove
Schedule Grid is linked before the event etherpad
#
sknebel
gRegorLove: feel free to adjust back/revert my edits if you disagree
#
gRegorLove
Oh, I wasn't looking at /Etherpad
#

I guess https://indieweb.org/IndieWebCamps#FAQ is outdated as well, with us now always(?) providing external signups?

worthy an update for sure
