Given that there's no Talk section on the Wiki, I suppose this is a good place to discuss.

!tell tantek, I went to check on the Pandoc PR mentioned at /friendly and it can no longer be found. What's the best thing to do under these circumstances? Delete the entire section?
#
Loqi
Ok, I'll tell them that when I see them next

should that be an FAQ in /wikify ?
#
jeremycherfas
Really? For a github PR that has vanished? I'll take a look, but I'm not convinced.

preserving history is usually a good idea

Never been captured.

what is pandoc
#
Loqi
pandoc is a format converter which supports an extreme variety of input and output formats; useful to convert from/to HTML, Markdown, XML, docx, etc https://indieweb.org/pandoc
#
tantek_
jeremycherfas see if you can determine if the current version of pandoc supports what the pull request supposedly added

[simonmumbles] @macgenie This is a great post for its exact purpose plus another broader audience: people for whom the IndieWeb can be intimidating. 👏
#
Loqi
[macgenie] @simonmumbles Good point. I still find the indieweb intimidating. I really want to spend more time on making it accessible to people who joined Twitter or Facebook for ease-of-use.

wow, I wonder if we should apply to this as the "IndieWeb" open source project https://github.com/1Password/1password-teams-open-source
#

could be a good way to share credentials for the twitter account and other things
