Zegnat I think the zoom meetings functioned very well, aaronpk. Also for the vHWC. If live streaming is another extra hurdle, and not even cost efficient at that, I say we drop that

aaronpk The live-streaming integration is actually really easy to do but only if you're hosting the meeting from a laptop not a mobile device.

aaronpk Plus if our goal is to upload to the internet archive instead of YouTube then we really don't gain anything by using it

aaronpk the thought was it would save us time not having to download and upload the recordings since live-streaming to YouTube also records, but that won't work with IA of course

Zegnat Do we have any idea if Chrome books count as laptop or mobile device in the eyes of Zoom? I am guessing there should be Chrome books (in the US) that are similarly prices to iPads, that would then enable us to do both meetings and streaming?

Zegnat The number one thing with YouTube is definitely instant availability and instant transcoding of streams.

aaronpk Yeah chrome books are tempting, but I don't have any and didn't want to buy any until I knew I'd Zoom was gonna work out

aaronpk also it's hard to find a really small chromebook, I want 11" or smaller and preferably as thin as my MacBook. All the ones I found were like 15mm or larger
