There's a wide spectrum of innovation/risk-acceptance vs being conservative with resources / risk-aversity, and we should accept that and perhaps provide guidance for folks to "dial-in" their own place along that spectrum and thus which specs/building-blocks are more/less suitable for them on that spectrum
