# @kevinmarks yeah, as of this year browsers assume that an image that they haven't loaded yet has the aspect-ratio (for height:auto) inferred from width/height attributes. Before browsers would ignore the attributes and assume the image is 0 pixel high until loaded. ( twitter.com/_/status/1344005411129577475)
