[tantek] Murray[d] indeed I agree with your analysis and conclusions. The direct and parallel "make what you want", "use what you make" are good updates to the principles (which I think I already did because there was enough consensus at the time?), and then the parallel metaphors of "cook what you want", "eat what you cook" are good in a descriptive way.
