[chrisbergr]You'll get them almost everywhere. Pharmacy (Apotheke, big red "A" sign), Supermarked and I guess most of the gas stations and train stations will have them too
[chrisbergr]Seb[d], People are also supposed to keep distance everywhere. Unfortunately, most people don't stick to it as consistently anymore, so you have to keep approaching people and demanding your space.
[chrisbergr]Yes, the event itself can free from the mask. But if there's a lobby or you're standing in line, you need a mask. You have the mask with you anyway, so there should be no problem.
ZegnatI know when I was in Germany a few months ago, it was mask up anywhere, masks off on public spaces only e.g. once you have reached your table at a restaurant. Want to use the bathroom and move from your table: mask on again.
ZegnatWhich I realise a lot of people have lived through for a long time, but was very weird to me coming from Sweden where the attitude to masks is "meh"
Seb[d]huh? the whole ‘putting it on, taking it off, putting it on’ thing kind of defeats the purpose of having a medical approved one vs just something…
[chrisbergr]You' re welcome. There are some measures that do not make sense. And on the other hand, some don't go far enough. After more than 2 years, the decision makers still don't know how to deal with it. The situation is just getting worse again, by Christmas we will be in chaos again. But hey, this is politics and I don't feel like talking about politics. I follow all the rules and decide for myself if sometimes something more makes
[tantek]1I think I'll be wearing masks in the btconf venue myself, even while watching talks. Hoping the coffee breaks are outside or have an outside option
[tantek]1even if the regulations allow you to take your mask(s) off in some indoor situations, IMO (my risk profile prefs) it's better to keep them on until the cases per 100k in that locality drop to single digits at least (preferably <1)
