alright, per the previous conversation (which have been here or maybe in #indieweb-dev, since it was the Webmention anniversaries and Bridgy birthday recently) I started an anniversaries section, with a few notable/impactful events: https://indieweb.org/timeline#Anniversaries

GWG, ^ was there a HWC Pacific photo this week? I figured you'd already taken it by the time I showed up 🙂
#
GWG
Thanks for reminding me
#
[tantek]
the good news is, the wiki edits this week are all on "positive" pages
#
[tantek]
bad news is we only have a couple of new pages, and they're need a bit more content / structure

Fiddled with IndieWeb setup this evening. I don't have a strong opinion, but it does seem a worthwhile effort.

NASCAR problem - IndieWeb https://bit.ly/3fkhzYR

capjamesg[d]
[tantek] it looks like you are holding a record for the longest wiki page that is not a created list 😂
#
capjamesg[d]
what should we do about pages that are old / don't have much content?
#
[tantek]
I like /Positives_instead_of_non-negatives — n.b. bslattkin co-inventor of PuSH, now known as WebSub
#
sknebel
old but not much content doesnt really hurt IMHO
#
sknebel
i.e. the former for sure could use a dfn
#
[tantek]
looks like Fitocracy is a /silo
#
[tantek]
even trivial pages about silos are (potentially) useful if they have export instructions etc.
#
[tantek]
that's quite indieweb
#
capjamesg[d]
Yeah, I don't think having little content on a page is a big deal.
#
capjamesg[d]
As long as there is a reason for a page being on the wiki, which in both cases I think stands.
#
[tantek]
capjamesg[d], start with adding a {{stub}} and a dfn to such pages when they’re missing them, per /start_a_page
#
[tantek]
having to focus on adding an IndieWeb-relevant definition will quickly help you determine if they should be on the wiki or not

capjamesg[d], look at how different /h-card /h-entry and /h-event are (and yes /h-review too)
#
[tantek]
which do you think benefits web developers the most looking for information about that microformat?
#
capjamesg[d]
Regarding my example, I was pointing out h-review as a page that could use some work.
#
capjamesg[d]
Seeing that page, it is not clear to me how I could start using h-review.
#
capjamesg[d]
And when I click to the main IndieWeb review page there is also no example.
#
[tantek]
capjamesg[d] all pages "could use some work", I'm asking you a broader question about related pages as a way to help you answer your more specific question about that page.
#
capjamesg[d]
I would argue that the h-event page does a good job because it points to the spec which itself is very detailed and has a great layout.
#
[tantek]
a spec for a standard and developer documentation serve very different purposes
