Not sure if it's worth considering, but it seems like most weeks we're attempting to bump crypto from the newsletter's most edited pages because we're quickly documenting criticisms to see also sections via Loqi. Is number of edits the best metric for inclusion into the newsletter rankings? Perhaps toting up the size of the overall edits may be a better metric? Often we'll have some new pages with a larger overall cumulative

changes but with only one or two edits (more work) versus smaller changes with higher numbers of edits representing less work. It may be worth looking at the metrics we're using to decide what will give us the best outputs. Thoughts?

We need the #indieweb. This news sounds worrying. Head over to @indiewebcamp and read how to IndieWeb:ify your site/blog

Since giving myself deadlines is effective, I'm deciding now that I will either figure out an indieweb or mastodon solution that crossposts here (must support many particular things, including alt text on all images) or stop posting to this bird site by the end of the year.

↩️ we can still do that. people still make blogs and RSS feeds. I recommend looking into https://indieweb.org to see how it’s done

[chrisaldrich] maybe we could discount (i.e. not count) the number of edits made by Loqi? That is, only genuine manual human edits of the pages would count towards their "popularity" in editing?

we have lots of mentions of misinformation and a few mentions of disinformation on the wiki, yet no page for either. maybe worth considering a page if there's enough content to draw from the pages that mention the terms
