↩️ IndieWeb is doing some good thinking about some of what was touched on here. We should be able to own and fully control what we put on the web. Your community and your creator presence should be yours regardless of platform. Good thoughts.

per [schmarty]'s recent thoughts / requests, should we consider putting tweet search results in a completely separate channel rather than into #indieweb-meta #indieweb-dev ?

tantek: i'm currently good w/ the tweets found through keywords (though i admit indieweb.social still comes up with non-relevant links)

[schmarty] I am starting to relate to your point of view / perspective when I click on such tweets and then get distracted by unproductive ratholes 😕
#
[schmarty]
i was just being moody about unrolling the tweet where i felt that the content of the _tweet_ was like "o no privacy laws" but the actual link / info was relevant.
#
[schmarty]
i make it intentionally hard on myself when i'm on my laptop by blocking twitter domains so i have to open a tor browser session to look at them 😂
#
[tantek]4
good strategy

[schmarty]
it did get me thinking along the lines of what you brought up, above. we have a _lot_ of content that is tweets. not just here in chat but also captured in the wiki.

[schmarty]
(usually criticisms of this or that)
#
[tantek]4
yes, I am tending to see and lean towards that critical perspective too

It’s been a while since I posted anything… well, I was busy with my #indieweb project: https://github.com/voidcontext/indieweb-tools. It’s far from complete, but it should syndicate this post to twitter and mastodon from by blog. …
