LoqiThere are many projects you can use to get your site on the IndieWeb, improve your IndieWeb support, or browse for inspiration for your own project; please note, some development ability and familiarity with command line tools will likely be required for you to use and improve these projects https://indieweb.org/projects...
tantek.comedited /marchitecture (-199) "-Dilbert example, doesn’t actually have a marchitecture diagram (unlike other examples), and discoverable as an instance of use of the marketecture term via Wikipedia article (already linked in See Also)" (view diff)
tantek.comedited /dogfood (-170) "-Dilbert example, fairly late stage example (2022), long after we'd decided to abandon this term in common IndieWeb use" (view diff)
tantek.comedited /footnote (+861) "incorporate a couple of SAs: brainstorming: how to mark semantics, prior work EPUB type, microformats2 property" (view diff)
tantek.comedited /static_site (+184) "expand dfn a bit, use proper if you were then see framing for SSG (it's not a "main" of anything on this page)" (view diff)
[tantek]right, there's an opportunity to help come up with methodologies for evaluating IndieWeb-relevance of various projects, maturity levels, etc. to help categorize projects transparently for folks who are looking to either use a project or contribute to one
[tantek]or possibly fork / pick one up that's (semi-)abandoned and do build something else with it. WordPress started that way so that's a reasonable path also
[tantek]I think we should mention micro.blog more directly & prominently as a turnkey onramp both closer to the top of the Getting Started page, and frankly, directly on the home page. Thoughts?
[tantek]on a broader scope (homepage/getting started), I think we used to focus more on a "patient" getting started crowd who were pursuing something out of a desire for something better, and I think that audience has shifted since twexodus to more of an "impatient" getting started crowd who are pursuing something out of a desire to escape their current situation as soon as possible, with minimum fuss
[tantek][schmarty] can you create an events.indieweb.org event for that Brooklyn NYCResistor event? Seems worth making sure it lands (just in time) in the Newsletter etc.
[tantek]should we have a canonical set of "city" tags we can offer / use consistently on events.indieweb events so folks can both auto-discover events in their city and folks can "reach" those folks?
