#[tantek]I'm looking for other organizers to help out with a potential IWC Berlin 9-10 September, because I'm not sure I can make it in-person (looking like I have to travel that weekend to W3C TPAC)
#[tantek]yeah, same for its inline-markup. it's block-level markup may have some ideas worth re-using. Overall though I agree capjamesg. It feels like something made-up for a very narrow vertical purpose (documenting Python code)
#capjamesgI have used rST for documenting a few libraries. Every time I have issues.
#capjamesgA preference for heading underlines equal to the length of the heading (so when you change your heading, you shuold change your markup).
#[tantek]capjamesg, what are your use-cases for definition lists? Have you ever needed them in posts? (I have one but then again I'm also the only person that implemented his own footnotes syntax auto-markup-and-linking AFAIK)
#[tantek]like LMK if you see someone (anyone) else using footnotes in notes posts e.g. on Mastodon
#capjamesgI don't have one; it was more of an observation.
#capjamesgI have used them for various misc. reasons on my site.
