So I just realized that with the fixes to the zoom integration I did, I now have the ability to receive webhooks from zoom for things
#
aaronpk
so I could have notifications post here on events like the meeting started or ended, and even when people join the meeting
#
sknebel
it'd be nice if the "live:" status on the page were tied to "is the zoom still running" vs the calendar
#
aaronpk
I'm tempted to do that because I feel like it will make the events seem more real to people who aren't yet actually in the zoom meeting
#
aaronpk
it is now
#
sknebel
kaja already indirectly reports that
#
sknebel
but a cleaner notice would help

I love that idea

A meeting ended notification could be good since the end time varies so widely.
#
sknebel
^^^ that is an "ending" notification, but its not exactly clear ;)

[tantek]: I guess the current definition is slightly ambiguous as to whether it's referring to the IndieAuth part or the part where you're signed in to both the wiki and the events site

aaronpk, yes. Is it worth disambiguating for the dfn or only in the page?

what is SSO
#
Loqi
SSO is an abbreviation for single sign-on, the ability to use one sign-in or login identity across multiple sites, and sometimes the ability to literally sign-in only once on one site and automatically be signed-in on other sites, like the way IndieAuth empowers you to use your own domain to sign-in to this wiki, which also signs you into the IndieWeb events site https://indieweb.org/SSO
