ZegnatThe permalink does not have any visual content. Just a yes rsvp. It gets parsed correctly when you send it as a webmention, as it shows up in the moderation log
[tantek]Wikify << for pages about a technology, there should be near or at the top: a user-centric user flow/story [[diagram]], and a very simple minimal code example, highlighting the specific tech in the context of its use (eg an mf2 class name highlighted inside an HTML element or two)
Loqiok, I added "for pages about a technology, there should be near or at the top: a user-centric user flow/story [[diagram]], and a very simple minimal code example, highlighting the specific tech in the context of its use (eg an mf2 class name highlighted inside an HTML element or two)" to the "See Also" section of /wikifyinghttps://indieweb.org/wiki/index.php?diff=90017&oldid=89518
aaronpkZegnat [tantek]: when there is a ticket URL, plain RSVPs don't show up. However on the border:none event the RSVP post also has a comment so it shows because there is comment text
[tantek]aaronpk, another possibility would be for Meetable to recognize a http://ti.to ticketing URL and then call its API to show the RSVPs dynamically
aaronpkThe API requires authentication so we'd have to support adding an API key to each event, since events get put on there from different Tito accounts too
[tantek]Joschi has his special zoom camera/device we can use for the main room and I brought an extra laptop (forgot the external camera) for a second room
LoqiIt looks like we don't have a page for "masking (or other Covid) rules for Tollwerk" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "masking (or other Covid) rules for Tollwerk is ____", a sentence describing the term)
ZegnatAnd yeah, was trying my hand at editing on phone. We wanted to make session planning explicit in the schedule. And put the photo moment earlier because we know there are some people who will need to leave early.
gRegorSince huffduffer permalinks have the username in them, it would be weird if I added the same audio file and it showed up as "repost of [someone I don't know]"
gRegorBut yeah, it could in theory create a permalink for each audio, then people could repost that and add their hashtags to it. That's the other current thing, each post the user can specify hashtags
Loqitest in production is (AKA testing in production) deploying code changes to a web site or service typically visible to the public as part of checking to see if the code changes function as expected, and is practiced by some IndieWeb creators especially with their own projects as a form of eating their own cooking, often before publishing code changes to an open source repository https://indieweb.org/test_in_production
LoqiJust generated this week's newsletter! You still have a few minutes to make changes, and I'll re-generate it 10 minutes before it gets sent out at 3pm Pacific time. https://indieweb.org/this-week/2023-10-27.html
