Do we have anything for scheduling for Nuremberg? And should we try to get extra Zoom rooms ready?
#
Zegnat
No schedule yet. But it is probably safe to assume we will do something like the previous Nürnberg one
#
Zegnat
I'll see if I can get the wiki updated with at least a start time during today

Huh. I seem to not be able to RSVP to https://events.indieweb.org/2023/10/indiewebcamp-nuremberg-2023-DmXe4dYdfagc ... I was able to send a Webmention from https://licit.li/653b5fe82d462 it showed up for moderation, I could approve it, and then it does not show. Some sort of caching? Or am I just shadowbanned? ;) (aaronpk)
#
gRegor
I don't see any post content on your permalink. I did see it just a bit ago and as a comment on the event, hm
#
gRegor
Oh I was looking at the dinner event
#
Zegnat
The permalink does not have any visual content. Just a yes rsvp. It gets parsed correctly when you send it as a webmention, as it shows up in the moderation log
#
Zegnat
I was trying to just rsvp without a comment.
#
[tantek]
Zegnat, I believe when there is a ticketing URL, RSVPing to the event works differently (because you're expected to get a ticket to "RSVP")
#
[tantek]
photo uploaded to https://events.indieweb.org/2023/10/indiewebcamp-nuremberg-2023-organizers-dinner-ujv9W0TRRKxL — which I thought would show up here as an edit to the event. cc: aaronpk

Are the same thing. (I didn't add the #indieweb tag)
#
gRegor
Since huffduffer permalinks have the username in them, it would be weird if I added the same audio file and it showed up as "repost of [someone I don't know]"
#
gRegor
But yeah, it could in theory create a permalink for each audio, then people could repost that and add their hashtags to it. That's the other current thing, each post the user can specify hashtags
#
gRegor
and description and title, now that I think about it
#
gRegor
The audio URL is really the only thing that would be the same among them
#
gRegor
For our use, though, we could use the mf2 from https://huffduffer.com/tags/indieweb and de-dupe based on the parsed audio URL in this-week

What is test in production
#
Loqi
test in production is (AKA testing in production) deploying code changes to a web site or service typically visible to the public as part of checking to see if the code changes function as expected, and is practiced by some IndieWeb creators especially with their own projects as a form of eating their own cooking, often before publishing code changes to an open source repository https://indieweb.org/test_in_production
