[Joe_Crawford]Also this is a late update but Blackmarket bakery let me know an event of our side (6-10 people) should be fine for our purposes for the San Diego event. I'm pretty happy about what will be San Diego Indieweb camp. One person un-RSVP recently - if you're in please do RSVP: https://events.indieweb.org/2023/12/indiewebcamp-san-diego-2023-ZEDdVaxIcQjz
[Joe_Crawford]I got a fresh email reply today, and would be glad to ask those or other questions. Any other things you have a concern about? And what is the current headcount?
[Joe_Crawford]Current weather forecasts for 16/17 December do not include rain so we're good there. Blackmarket *does* have overheard coverage for their outdoor area but my apartment complex has a great and large community room 10 minutes away by drive that would suit our purposes as a contingency.
GWGgRegor: You've seen the flag on camera. I bought it to compete with jkphl's banner, but haven't been to an IWC since I did. I want to get my money's worth
GWGAnd does anyone have any suggestions about a place that isn't too crowded at that general time, has decent food, reasonable prices, and vegetarian/vegan options for those who need them?
[Joe_Crawford]First place I think of is https://kikosplace.com - if mexican seafood from a food truck is of interest. It'd be 2 trolley stops away from your hotel. There are other places for sure.
[Joe_Crawford]They definitely have shellfish and would not be on the kosher end but it's good. Have confidence that as the date approaches there'll be good options.
[Joe_Crawford]Also last time I was at Blackmarket I snapped a panorama. Holler if you have questions. Not sure sharing large media here will work but I'll try
