Okay
#
[tantek]
Aaronpk, other organizers, if we got space in Seattle for an IWS in late June or July, would that work for you? Any blocked weekends in particular?
#
[tantek]
I’m working with a contact there to explore venue possibilities
#
[tantek]
Katie (who has been to IWS in PDX) is talking with Salt
#
[tantek]
TracyDurnell are you interested in being involved as a co-organizer for an IWS Seattle?

what is Flarum
#
Loqi
It looks like we don't have a page for "Flarum" yet. Would you like to create it? (Or just say "Flarum is ____", a sentence describing the term)
#
[aciccarello]
Some relevant discussion if people want to get into the meta of the forum https://indiewebforum.eu/d/7-how-can-we-make-the-forum-more-integrated-with-the-indieweb
#
gRegor
Flarum is open source forum software used to run [[IndieWebForum]] https://flarum.org

If I could find an rss feed for the forum, how hard would it be to add responses to this channel?
#
gRegor
Probably not too hard, I think aaronpk has a channel of RSS feeds in Aperture that powers that
#
gRegor
Er, powers what's in #indieweb-stream, that is
#
[aciccarello]
Oh, stream would be better than #indieweb-meta
#
[aciccarello]
FYI, I think that feed has all comments, not just the start of topics. That seems fine for #indieweb-stream but I did want to mention it in case people thought that would be too noisy. Right now there's not that much chatter though.
#
gRegor
Didn't realize Flarum is (kinda?) a SPA? It's readable with js off, though doesn't show avatars and recommends a "modern browser with javascript enabled"
#
gRegor
Pretty extensible, would be cool to add IndieAuth
#
gRegor
It's pretty. Looks a lot less cluttered than ye olde phpBB and similar, haha
#
[aciccarello]
I'm pretty impressed by how easy to use and good looking it is

https://indiewebforum.eu/rss has only given me new topics, not every post
#
[aciccarello]
I think you have to be logged in
#
gRegor
Hm, I see jacky's reply in that RSS feed
#
gRegor
But not [aciccarello] original post, odd.
#
gRegor
I think https://indiewebforum.eu/atom/discussions might be the one we want
#
[aciccarello]
So just the new discussions?
#
gRegor
I guess it depends if we show only the title or the truncated description
