#[aciccarello]Any objections to making trip more "post about moving between points" focused and travel more "post or collection of posts about a travel event"?
#[aciccarello]Posts like exercise that are currently on the travel page would probably move to trip

#[contact898]I've always been confused at the difference between travel and trip (we only have one word for that in French, and another one for journey/commute) but it feels like a trip would then always be a subsection of a travel?
#[contact898]is it really relevant to have two pages? (I'm truly asking this is not rhetorical)
#[aciccarello]Yeah, in English they are mostly synonymous. It's a fair question to ask.
#[aciccarello]Looking at the examples, there are some posts that are about moving from point A to point B, often with GPS tracking or a specific transportation mode (car, train, plane). There is also a related page for exercise. Walking and biking could be primarily for exercise or for transportation so there is overlap.
#[aciccarello]But there are also posts examples that are more focused on "I'm coming to [city name]"
#[qubyte]I’d say a trip is more noun-like (journey may be better as a noun) in use whereas travel more verb-like. I wonder if others agree and if the distinction affects preference.
#[qubyte](Travel also feels continuous/progressive, whereas trip feels like a thing that will be or has already happened)
#[aciccarello]Okay, taking a break for now. I'd love to see more examples if anyone has some.
