[schmarty] I was just thinking back to how grateful I was for so many folks helping out a bit at IndieWebCamp. It made such a big difference 🥹
#
[schmarty]
Totally agree! It felt like it "just came together" but of course that was many good hands making light work.

Are private conversations possible in irc? Not that I want to discuss private or sensitive matters, just want to ask specific questions (like about json schema, as I did in #dev), but wondering how much I noise I can generate with details, followups, etc.

btrem, not private per se, however, if your goal is to reduce "noise" (by some definition), or not have it logged by default (but still permission to quote), you can use #indieweb-random for that!

[tantek] followup: can I ask questions that might be very specific to my website building process? (First question already asked in #dev; might have followups if anyone responds.) I guess if it gets too tedious for others, someone can tell me so. I'm not too thin-skinned. ;-)
#
[tantek]
I mean I feel like we created #indieweb-random for this among other reasons, so folks could go off on long / deep tangents that they didn't want to feel like they were bothering other people with

Got it. Thanks. I'll move there if it seems appropriate.
