Just generated this week's newsletter! You still have a few minutes to make changes, and I'll re-generate it 10 minutes before it gets sent out at 3pm Pacific time. https://indieweb.org/this-week/2025-07-18.html

#
[tantek]
gRegor indeed. Have we seen any photos or meetup notes yet from Bangalore?
#
gRegor
Not photos, I don't think. I'll check the Underline site's blog for notes
#
[tantek]
blog posts would be great
#
gRegor
Interesting, they have a WhatsApp community too

what is bangalore
#
Loqi
Bangalore is a city in Karnataka, India that started having regular IndieWebClub meetings from May 2025 https://indieweb.org/Bangalore
#
gRegor
> "On Saturday, we did the second installment of IndieWebClub, and 14 people wrote, 10 of whom published a blogpost! I am so proud of all of us - it’s not easy, but ✨ the power of community ✨ will lift us all together." https://tanvibhakta.mataroa.blog/blog/week-of-may-31st-2025/
#
gRegor
brief mention in a weeknotes post, so not sure if we should add it, but 14 people and 10 blog posts is awesome! Let's see if any of those are public
#
gRegor
They have a couple other posts as part of the blog carnival. Nice.
#
[tantek]
yes! I'm not sure what the best way to record it is but at least a stub page on the wiki for the event listing the blog posts would be good as a substitute for an actual HWC notes page, and we could link to it from the HWC nav template

gRegor I got it too. I got a weird spam warning in Gmail (iOS) which didn't allow me to load the images in it
#
gRegor
Huh, interesting. I might have approved that before so don't get the prompt anymore. It does look like DMARC failed. I'm also viewing in Gmail.
#
gRegor
(gmail web)
#
gRegor
Actually I think that might mean the DMARC DNS lookup failed. The SPF and DKIM did pass, so I don't think the DMARC policy comes into effect
#
gRegor
That's all on Mailchimp's side regardless, nothing we can do about it.
