[tantek]The only similarity is that for a while, a few folks at W3C did copy and soft fork HTML5 from WHATWG, including trying to force RDFa into HTML5. That's the only "similar" thing that happened. A few W3C folks insisting on forcing RDF to be in a spec that has no need for it
