voxpelli asked _"Random question: Is the IndieWeb wiki blocking AI tools like Gemini?"_ see https://indieweb.org/large_language_model_traffic#IndieWeb_Examples to the best of my knowledge the wiki is open for read-only to nearly all traffic, but not for the wiki edit history.
#
[artlung]
voxpelli diviing deeper, it appears the indieweb wiki robots.txt file disallows "Google-Extended" user agent, which would impact Gemini if Gemini is using that crawler. https://indieweb.org/robots.txt

[artlung]: that’s a bit unfortunate as there’s such a treasure trove of experiences and best practices in the wiki that should be part of the wider conversation, but I see if it’s impacting the system
