[tantek]Should we keep the channel descriptions / prompts somewhere more persistent like the wiki so anyone can fix them from the wiki and so we can have a history of what they were?

[capjamesg]Regarding the event format, do you have a theme in mind that you would like to explore? One topic idea that comes to mind for me is how zines relate to the web: similarities vs. differences, how we make zines with (or without) technology, how the culture of zines exists outside the web.
[capjamesg]It would be great if we had a specific theme in mind that we can use to steer the discussion. We don’t need to stick to it, but it may help get the conversation flowing.
[capjamesg]Also I’d recommend we steer away from presentations for a first meetup. Our role is ideally to steer the conversation and elevate the voices of the participants, making sure everyone has as equal time as possible to contribute to topics that interest them / relate to any theme.
