[tantek] In looking at the /discuss description for the #indieweb-events channel vs the #indieweb-meta channel, it's clear there is a bit of an unresolved ambiguity there. Historically we used #indieweb-meta for event planning and "about an event" discussions, whereas one of the use-cases (that many of us supported) for the new #indieweb-events channel was to also have / encourage discussion *about* events in the #indieweb-events channel

[tantek] in addition to discussion *at* an event (e.g. the chat channel for a Zoom).

[tantek] Also the community seems to be organically (in general, not 100%) adopting using the #indieweb-events channel for some event planning, and about events.

[tantek] Thus I propose we document this use-case (about/planning events) and organically emerging community use convention for the #indieweb-events channel explicit in the summary description on /discuss#events and perhaps in an FAQ about when to use meta vs events. Thoughts?

[tantek] And separately a page refactor proposal. The /HWC page is very long and potentially hard to navigate for the variety of use-cases people have for it. I propose extracting the "How to Organize" and https://indieweb.org/Homebrew_Website_Club#How_to_Organize_Virtual_Events sections into their own pages. Thoughts?
