weird spam deleted from #indieweb-events in Slack and Discord. waiting for it to show up in the github logs to rm it there too
#
[capjamesg]
A bit of spam in #indieweb too tantek.
#
[capjamesg]
Or rather inappropriate content.
#
[tantek]

#
[tantek]

#
[tantek]
thanks [capjamesg]. deleted that one also from Slack and Discord
#
[tantek]
who here is still regularly using IRC, gRegor? GWG?
#
gRegor
`!kick` works for any voiced users, regardless how they're connecting
#
aaronpk
does that still work
#
gRegor

#
gRegor

sigh the /projects page is once again quite out of date. easily finding deadlinks / dead-domains

alright, potential challenging decision here. I am thinking of removing both "Known" and "http://micro.blog" from the /projects page, for different reasons. For "Known", it's no longer used by its founders/creators (and #indieweb-known channel is not active any more). "http://micro.blog" is not an open source project you can install on your own server. thoughts?
#
[tantek]
(aside: Ben is using Ghost on http://werd.io now, and Erin's site listed there is no longer online - already documented on /lost_sites )

what is projects?
#
Loqi
projects are everything from complete solutions to make an IndieWeb site, improve your IndieWeb support, or libraries to build on, and may also be a personal website page or subsite that lists projects that person has created or is working on https://indieweb.org/projects...
#
aaronpk
hm, "complete solutions to make..." does imply micro.blog would not be in that list
#
[tantek]
we have a "former projects" page but that sounds very terminal / dead-end. I am thinking of creating an intermediate page like "inactive projects" to move seemingly abandoned (but still online) projects to.
#
[tantek]
This is all to help make it easier to clean-up /projects
