Zegnat Almost looks like the asterisk that was supposed to be the next bullet item (“Snapchat username …”) ended up within the wiki link wrapping. Note that in the original etherpad that was on a line below the link the /QR_codes (https://etherpad.indieweb.org/2026-07-30-front-end-study-hall/timeslider#3245)

Zegnat [capjamesg]: I think the problem is with the split. It should split on all space characters including line breaks. Currently it things words can include linebreaks, so the link was `https://indieweb.org/QR_codes\n*`

Zegnat You could use regex instead to split on any run of whitespace: `re.split(r"\s+", etherpad_contents)`. I _think_ that might solve the issue.
