What’s the best way to leave a to-do on a wiki page? Is there a way? I just created a stub for uBlock Origin, but I’m on my phone. I want leave a note to create some links to real word usage and to examples of uBO rules given on other pages on the wiki.

You can use the < < syntax here to add things to a page's See Also section. If you prefix them with a literal string like "to do: ..." then they'll serve as a reminder to anyone looking at the page

Ah, ok, thanks

Hello I have #meta shaped question. I want to embed an image which was previously uploaded to an Indieweb event onto a page on the Wiki. How do I use the existing upload, as a file path, or do I re-upload it for the wiki? Credit all hail to Zachary, who made the beautiful cover image for the zine event we had in May
#
[aciccarello]
I think it'd be okay to hotlink to the event image, no?

What image is it?

I think, Im going to proceed with re-uploading the file. I imagine they are stored in separate places potentiall, events vs. wiki. Makes sense to have a copy there too, with more markup and alt text
#
morganwebdev
Oh hmm, I guess I dont own the work, but its already been submitted? Maybe a mod could assist here or I could ask Zachary if they want to upload? No worries or stress, just curious whats best
#
gRegor
Hotlinking is good for now. Can ask Zachary if they mind the image uploaded on the wiki, too
#
gRegor
I'm not sure if we've discussed/clarified if the CC0 license applies to uploaded images too: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/

answered my own question
#
aaronpk
it does, and it is meant to apply to anything uploaded to events.indieweb.org as well
#
morganwebdev
