Are regular Tuesday µformat meetups still happening in SF, does anyone know?

singpolyma: it's not every tuesday, but yeah, they do still happen from time to time
#
singpolyma
hober: cool. I was asking because I'm here today, so if one's happening I'm interested, but if one's not happening that's fine :)
#
hober
oh, cool
#
hober
brian suda's also in town

So, are people around tonight / interested in doing a µformats meetup in SF?
#
hober
^ in particular, see comment 3
#
singpolyma
that's sort of an interesting idea
#
singpolyma
wouldn't really need to be a tag, a global attribute would do
#
tantek
singpolyma - are you in SF tonight?
#
tantek
hober - interesting bug report, not sure I agree with the "one element to solve them all" approach
#
singpolyma
tantek: I'm in MV right now and can be in SF tonight
#
tantek
then again, the alternative of having to spec a new element for each new machine vs. human data type is not necessarily attractive either (e.g. number, measure, duration, etc.)
#
tantek
singpolyma - I'm in MV now also but heading back to SF soon via Caltrain
#
tantek
it might a bit too late to do a microformats dinner tonight
#
singpolyma
yeah, that's fine :)
#
tantek
Thursday night is possible though - or just merge / come to Pub Standards
#
tantek
might organize an informal dinner beforehand
#
singpolyma
I'm not sure I see an advantage to <machine data="blah">human</machine> vs <p machine="data">human</p> (or whatever tags fits best), but I definitely see a problem with time turning into a nest of tags like media already has
#
singpolyma
cool, I can probably show up to that
