tantek A quick note, the content added to http://microformats.org/wiki/hcard-examples-in-wild was actually legitimate - I checked the site/URL they added and it *did* have an hCard of their contact info. So I restored the example and moved it to the appropriate grouped section in the organization section

tantek and when people add to *-examples-in-wild pages, take a quick look at their sites to see if they actually do have the microformats, if they do, and the content seems accurate as for the page (i.e. not just hidden spam) then we should keep it.

tantek !tell barnabywalters While writing a blog post, and then creating copy/paste citation (h-cite) markup, I found a use-case for implying p-name from a root <abbr> in microformats2: http://microformats.org/wiki/microformats-2-implied-properties#root_class_on_one_element. I'm going to add a few steps to the microformats2-parsing algorithm for implying "name" property to handle it.

tantek this is good, I wasn't sure about including <abbr> in the implied 'name' property algorithm, and because (at the time), there were no documented (or even known) use-cases for an <abbr> as a root element of a microformat, I explicitly left it out (though documented that it was a theoretical consideration).

tantek now that we've found a concrete real world use-case, it makes sense to incorporate it (abbr[title] implying name property from that title attribute) into microformats2.

tantek if anyone can think of any other elements that should behave in a special manner when the root of a simple microformat (e.g. even just a one element microformat), please let me know!
