ChiefRA tommorris yeah, I was suggesting installing a fresh copy of the Wikimedia as tantek said you've tried a few anti-spam techniques which seems to not work for some reason (poltergeist is one of them). So instead of trying to fix the actual platform I think it's easier to install a clean one and apply the desired anti-spam measures. When everything works as intended (IF!) then, the content and the layout can be migrated.
