tantek If I don't see any differences of opinion, I'm going to add it as a proposed way to resolve https://github.com/microformats/microformats2-parsing/issues/2 and then we can iterate there on specific pros/cons improvements etc.

tantek also I don't understand what you mean by "major version # change" - we don't do that with the microformats parse, we keep evolving it in (for the most part) backwards/forwards compatible ways
