petermolnar evening all; in case I want to include the artist in a <figure>, would it make sense to mark the <figcaption> as p-author and a <span> inside it with the name?

sknebel sounds like a plan (the span might not be necessary if it is just the name, due to implciit names) if it's the image alone. embedded in a larger post it might be trickier
