tantek Zegnat looks like I don't have that manual option, just checked the User rights management page and it lets me just choose among making you a Bot, a Sysop, or a Bureaucrat, none of which apply to you

[kevinmarks] It may have made more sense with mf1, where different types has different properties , but I don't think it works as well for mf2 where they would get identical properties.

sknebel I wondered about using it so e.g. a /reader can only look for h-entries and still show at least something useful for an h-review, but I don't know if that has been an actual issue
