prlbr @Zegnat I see ... yes, the captcha seemed to be the problem when trying to add external links.

Zegnat Currently only wiki admins can add external links, everything else continues to work per usual.

Zegnat Previously the reCAPTCHA could still be passed with certain strings, even though it said the service was deprecated. So it was still keeping automated spam out. But in the last month or so another switch got flipped and it will not let anything through.

prlbr I added information to http://microformats.org/wiki/rel-up in the hope that rel=up can be promoted from http://microformats.org/wiki/existing-rel-values#dropped_without_prejudice to be a valid value again.
