why does only the third value get resolved as a relative URL here? https://pin13.net/mf2/?id=20180729210347771

I need help finding documentation for the implied-date magic going on here: http://pin13.net/mf2-dev/?id=20180729232656682
#
jmac
But (a) It's worded as a possible future feature? and (b) it's talking about "dtend", not "dt-end"?
#
jmac
If the answer is "No, this is that", then I'll just buck up an implement it
#
jmac
But I wanted to make sure

Let me check

gRegorLove: Ah! That looks like what I need. Thank you!

For (b), value class pattern (VCP) applies to mf2 as well, so you can mentally replace mf1 classnames like dtend with dt-end. It's probably worth making that more explicit on the VCP page.
#
jmac
Yeah, I think that whole section was kind of a red herring for me. (Especially since I'm coming at this not caring much about mf1)
#

tangent, there's proposal to imply timezone as well: https://github.com/microformats/microformats2-parsing/issues/4
#
Loqi
[tantek] #4 vcp: imply dates should also imply tz if needed
#
gRegorLove
php-mf2 implements that currently, but not officially part of the spec yet and some discussion there about edge cases
