[tantek] was thinking something like, microformats took flight quietly and are everpresent across numerous systems, such as blogs, even your own blog, has a microformats feed on the home page, and your permalinks are marked up with microformats also - all of which are consumable by microformats parsers (see microformats.io and try it for yourself)
