# [Lewis_Cowles] Anyone got any good resources on choosing one or the other? Both seem to be open specs, but microdata seems to support JSON linked data (which I personally find easier to parse).

[jgmac1106] Not really an either or. Most people here use microformats because all the tools folks have built rely on them.
