how do i do mf2 in a multilingual setting?
#
sknebel
mf2 doesn't really add anything specific to that, HTML covers a lot of it already
#
timotimo
do any mf2 parsers look at lang="blah" attributes?
#
timotimo
that's how html does it, right?
#
sknebel
parsers extract it on h-*, yes
#
sknebel
(or are supposed to, not sure all have gotten the update to do that yet)
#
timotimo
is "en" the assumed global default if nothing is specified? :P
#
sknebel
no, no default specified

ahoy. is there a better way to cite offline publications (such as, say, a song) through h-cite? reading the wiki page, citing so far seems like a finicky subject.
#
rocx
citing looks more like it's meant for books or web publications.
#
rocx
guess p-author would be the artist there then. my bad.

rocx, yeah, I think you could map a song like any written text and use h-cite. I am not sure many people have done it though, so unsure about the specific use-case
