So, who wants to help stabilize h-cite?
#
gRegorLove
What does that entail?

gRegorLove: [tantek] left you a message on 2020-09-18 at 12:09am UTC: could you take a look at https://github.com/microformats/h-entry/issues/25 and LMK (reacji / comment) if it makes sense to you or if it doesn't, ask question(s)? I'd like to make sure that this method of attempting async h-entry process update proposal / discussion works before filing more such issues (also for anyone else who publishes or implements consuming h-entry, especially if you're

!tell [tantek] belated, +1 on https://github.com/microformats/h-entry/issues/25 makes sense, no immediate questions

I don't see any issues on the h-cite wiki page or in the mf2 parsing git repo. No dedicated h-cite repo yet for issues
#
gRegorLove
For the publishing and consuming examples, do we need to list those on the h-cite wiki page, or ok to link to indieweb wiki?

#
jacky
I wanna say the former for a more centralized and semantically relevant point
#
jacky

Who consumes citations?
#
[tantek]
good questions. we've only barely evolved / transitioned the process for advancing individual properties using GitHub issues and a formal consensus process
#
[tantek]
for now, listing examples in the wild / consuming code example on the wiki pages would be great, or linking to existing lists of those is also good (e.g. linking to IndieWeb wiki lists which may be better maintained)
#
gRegorLove
GWG, previously I started a "Tools" section on indieweb wiki to capture some of those consuming cases, like https://indieweb.org/read#Tools
#
gRegorLove
offhand I know social readers consume h-cite, not sure about other consumers
#
gRegorLove
publishing and consuming tools, actually
#
gRegorLove
Hm, can I get a password reset on mf2 wiki?
#
gRegorLove
nvm, got in

GWG, any WP plugins consuming h-cite?
#
GWG
gRegorLove: No, only publishing it
#
GWG
If I ever do Salmentions maybe

GWG
gRegorLove: I publish them for reply contexts and comments
