I just put it in my p-note.
#
[fluffy]
p-category on h-card seems like a reasonable way to do it though
#
KartikPrabhu
yeah mine is in the p-note also

p-category tags make sense for that
#
[tantek]
consider the use-case of folks searching for specific interests. a free text search (note) can sorta work, however an exact (suffix insensitive) match for a p-category tag is likely much stronger signal
#
KartikPrabhu
you can also do both. Have a sentence in your p-note, but markup the "keywords" with p-category.
#
KartikPrabhu
that way there is a descriptive text version in p-note and also a "category" parseable version
#
KartikPrabhu
that makes me think about the following: there are autolinkers which create actual HTML links from URLs in a text. Are there any "auto-taggers" which will convert #test to a HTML+mf2 formatted p-category? [tantek]?
#
[tantek]
yes the CASSIS autolinker will do this 🙂
#
KartikPrabhu
ooo nice! I'll look into it for python
#
KartikPrabhu
or else port the CASSIS code
#
[tantek]
KevinMarks may have ported it to python
#
KartikPrabhu
aha! nice thanks
