[jgarber] The support message I sent to Bandcamp was semi-technical. I noted their existing HTML on artist pages already had existing `rel` values and that adding the `me` value would support Mastodon’s verification. I included a link to the Mastodon help page on the topic and kinda left it as, “it’d be really nice if…”

[jgarber] I eventually got a generic-ish response back that said they’d pass it on to their dev team. I kinda forgot about it until I saw the post Kevin shared on Mastodon earlier today. Not exactly sure when Bandcamp rolled it out, but cool to see it live.

[KevinMarks] As with 20 years ago, the change is small enough that a dev team will look at it and go 'easy fix' - if they had to add and maintain WebFinger, say, the chances are a lot lower.
