Hello tantek, I've been wondering if it makes sense for me to have duplicats of my h-card on my blog. I have asides with `hidden` properties in each article AND a h-card on the bottom of the site. It seems to work when I'm testing it and I'm afraid to change it now.

One of the Jo(e)s has the same "solution" and I've put it on the back burner for weeks.

mandaris, probably more of an indieweb-dev question, but take a look at https://indieweb.org/authorship-spec for multiple ways to indicate authorship. You can definitely have one h-card on the page (or even a different page, like the homepage or about page), and have each post indicate how to find the author of the post.

A possible advantage of the h-card in each post is if you're using a different avatar over time and want older posts to keep the one you used at the time. I did that on my site, that's why there's a mini h-card in the footer of each, vs. the homepage has a card at the top which always has my current avatar

I only see one `h-card` on that page, btw, in the footer.

Oh, maybe you were asking if you *should* duplicate the h-card? I wouldn't unless you have a reason to
