My intent was to release 051 and 060 back to back. The maintainers with GPG signing haven't had time to release it yet and I haven't had a chance to get it set up myself so I could possibly release it.

is p-name assumed if you have a single, simple, <a href="https://example.com" class="h-card">Someone's name</a> link, or is it best practice to add it anyway?
#
[tantek]
I believe that's in the examples on the wiki page

which would be helpful if it was loading 😕
#
wturrell
yep it's omitted from the straightforward link and it's included in the h-card with a span, which was confusing me slightly
#
[tantek]
short answer, that markup should work without explicit p-name
#
gRegor
Yeah, p-name is implied if there's no explicit p-* or e-* properties in the microformat
#
gRegor
oh, and no nested h-* microformats either

[tantek]
yeah your "single, simple" is the same as the first example in the spec
#
wturrell
thanks - and am I ok nesting like this? (h-card links to other peoples' personal sites from within an h-entry authored and attributed to me?) https://blog.wturrell.co.uk/one-line-likes
#
gRegor
Yep, h-cards inside h-entry when linking to people is a common pattern!
#
gRegor
In the parsed results they show up in the "children" part

wturrell
thank you :)
