jkingweb Thanks for the advice, everyone. I think what I have works, modulo some bugs. I'll have to write a bunch of test cases (yaye, more tests!), and then write the rest of the newsfeed processor (I only have the document processing in place, not fetching, scraping, sanitizing, etc, etc), but having a good universal newsfeed processor for PHP has been a dream of mine going on eight years, and this week I'm one step closer!
