cwebber2 it's a pretty exciting thing. There are some complexities with using xmpp for federation on web servers. I was really interested in that for some time. But anyway it's not a "web" protocol, so it's outside the scope of this group for consideration anyhow

cwebber2 I do think that xmpp is great, and I would like to see more people working on it for social communication stuff, but it's out of scope for this group. That's my summary on it :)
