cwebber2 I guess since MAY is not normative, it's fine to use in a non-normative section, but is there also any point to using MAY in that way if the section is marked non-normative anyway?

csarven If RFC's MUST/SHOULD/MAY are used, I see them as normative; implementations should do them because there are good enough reasons. Non-normatives are like casual remarks to me - good for background knowledge, fillers, may be insightful, but can be ultimately ignored, not tested...
