# ben_thatmustbeme csarven: yes, a lot of w3c's specs have basically gone down new roads and not had the implementation experience, but as I understand it w3c has been shifting to being focused on standardizing existing non-standard systems. websub for example, makes a lot of sense in that regard, its been around for years, has had many, many people use it, but it has had holes.
